Course Code APR0297 The European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) qualification has been rebranded by the awarding body to International Certification of Digital Literacy (ICDL) reflecting its international reach whilst retaining the same course syllabus. ICDL Essential is an excellent introduction to the world of technology. This Level 1 qualification covers 3 units, IT User Fundamentals, Using the Email and the Internet and Security for IT Users. ICDL Essentials Online therefore enhances learners’ understanding of computers and promotes the safe, efficient and effective use of computer applications. ICDL Essentials is an ideal progression route to ICDL Extra, the Level 2 qualification. Upon completion of the course delegates will develop their knowledge, skills and understanding in performing tasks associated with the above 3 units. The course is available in Microsoft Office 2016, 2019 and 365.
