Course Code APR0118
This 2-Day course is designed for those who need to know how to use the Microsoft Publisher 2007 software to create a range of business-based documents including brochures, fliers, newsletters and labels. The course exposes delegates to the basic features of Microsoft Publisher 2007. We will engage delegates in activities that are associated with creating basic and multi-page publications, working with master pages, formatting text and paragraphs, working with tables, and output publications for sharing and commercial printing. Upon completion of the course delegates will develop their skills, knowledge and understanding in the following:
- Start, navigate and generally work with Microsoft Publisher 2007
- Understand concepts essential to using Publisher
- Work with objects and frames in publications
- Work with text in publications
- Enhance text in publications
- Perform and mail merge in Microsoft Publisher
- Create drawings
- Create WordArt objects
- Create stationery using Microsoft Publisher
- Use layout and page techniques to enhance publications

Entry Requirements |
This course assumes little or no knowledge or experience of producing publications or Microsoft Publisher 2007. However, it would be beneficial to have a general understanding of personal computers and the operating system environment, especially in regard to working with files and folders.
